Impending Snowstorm Alters Weekend Sports Schedule
Home Swimming, Basketball Events Moved to Sunday
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Maybe Punxsutawney Phil knows a thing or two about the weather after all.
Three days after the world’s most famous groundhog predicted six more weeks of winter, all five Bullets athletic events scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled or postponed due to an impending snowstorm, as indicated below:
Men’s Basketball Alumni Game: Cancelled
Home Men’s Basketball game vs. Ursinus: Postponed until Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m.
Home Women’s Basketball game vs. Ursinus: Postponed until Sunday, Feb. 7, at noon
Home M-W Swimming meet vs. Franklin & Marshall: Postponed until Sunday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m.
Indoor Track & Field meet at Ursinus: Cancelled
Wrestling Match at King’s College: Cancelled
The men’s basketball alumni game and the indoor track meet will not be rescheduled. The wrestling match will still be held between King’s, Messiah College, and SUNY Morrisville.
