F&M holds a 45-44-7 edge in the all-time series that dates back to 1890, and the two sides have faced off in their regular season finale every year since 1983. The home team has claimed each of the past six meetings.
LAST MEETING
Making his first collegiate start,
Kody Smith threw for 281 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions on 19-of-28 passing, and Gettysburg scored 41 unanswered points spanning the first three quarters en route to a 57-35 victory over Franklin & Marshall at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. LAST TIME OUT
Corwyn Gordon blocked a potential game-tying extra point with 46 seconds left and Dickinson edged the Bullets 21-20 to win back the Little Brown Bucket in Gettysburg on Saturday. After junior quarterback
Kody Smith scored on a 2-yard touchdown run, Gordon got his hand on the point-after attempt. The ball fluttered in the air before bouncing off the crossbar and back into the end zone. The Red Devils then recovered Gettysburg's onside kick attempt and were able to run out the rest of the clock. Dickinson, which scored 21 unanswered points after falling behind 14-0 early, rushed for 306 yards. Senior tailback
Ted Delia led Gettysburg with 86 rushing yards while senior wing
John Pesce scored a pair of touchdowns – one rushing and one receiving. Sophomore receiver
Aden Twer caught six passes for 78 yards and became just the second player in school history to go over 1,000 receiving yards in a season. Junior linebacker
Mark Covington made 11 tackles, including 10 solo stops, while forcing and recovering a fumble to lead the defense while junior linebacker
Larry DelViscio also made 11 stops.
Franklin & Marshall led 10-0 and 17-14 against Johns Hopkins, but the 11th-ranked and undefeated Blue Jays rallied to beat the Diplomats 28-23 in Baltimore last week. Trailing 28-17, F&M scored with 2:27 left on a 17-yard touchdown pass from John Harrison to Tim Muller, but Hopkins was able to run out the remainder of the clock. Harrison finished 23-for-33 for 302 yards and three touchdowns against the leading pass defense in Division III while Paul McGann caught six passes for 90 yards. John Kaschak rushed for 86 yards on 12 carries.
THE GETTYSBURG OFFENSE
Gettysburg's highly-balanced offense enters Saturday's game ranked in the top-50 in Division III in passing (42nd, 249.1 ypg), rushing (47th, 207.7), and total offense (24th, 456.8). The Bullets have set a school record for single-season touchdown passes (21), but they have also scored 20 touchdown runs. Sophomore receiver

Joe Ventresca continues to lead Gettysburg's pass-rush, piling up 6.5 sacks and 12.0 tackles for loss to rank sixth in the Centennial in both categories. Senior linebacker
Marc Graziano and senior safety
Joe Delaney have contributed with 7.0 and 6.9 tackles per game, respectively.
THE GETTYSBURG SPECIAL TEAMS
Thanks in large part to his three long punt return touchdowns, Delia enters Saturday's game ranked third in Division III in punt return average (25.9 ypg). Freshman
