CARLISLE, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's and women's swimming teams both kept their undefeated records intact following their Centennial Conference wins at Dickinson College on Wednesday.

The men's team (7-0, 5-0 CC) sprinted to a 125-80 victory while the women's squad (8-0, 6-0 CC) posted a 114-91 win.

Freshman Haley Weaver was a double-winner for the women's team, as she captured both the 200-individual medley (2:13.89) and the 100-backstroke (1:02.69).  Classmate Cooper Kearns added a victory in the 1,000-freestyle (11:00.59). Senior Mariesa Slaughter won the 100-butterfly (1:03.16) while junior Brooke Lacey touched first in the 100-breaststroke (1:12.15).

Weaver also anchored the winning 200-free relay (1:43.21) that included classmate Ellie Houser and juniors Caroline Coolidge and Cassie Close. Slaughter joined classmate Kayte Demont and sophomores Perri Finnican and Ali Roth for a 200-medley relay win.

Senior Drew Close captured a double win in the 200-freestyle (1:46.33) and the 500-freestyle (4:54.81). Classmates Matt Libby  and Roger Nawrocki aided in the team's victory winning the 100-butterfly (51.09) and 100-breaststroke (1:01.27) respectively. Freshman Kevin Nicholson won the 1000-freestyle (10:25.67) while classmate Jason Potter captured the 100-freestyle (47.50).

Continuing the relays success, Nawrocki, Libby, Potter and freshman Mike Harmon were victorious in the 200-medley relay (1:35.83). The Bullets swept the top three finishes in the 200-freestyle relay leading with the 'A' team of Potter, Harmon, Libby and freshman Stu Cubbison

Gettysburg dives in again Saturday for a big home meet against Franklin & Marshall College at 1 p.m. in a meet that will decide the Centennial Conference regular season champion on both sides.
