MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's tennis team put a halt to a four-match losing streak with a 9-0 non-conference victory over Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday, March 29.

Gettysburg (4-4) had no issues against the Lions (7-3) dropping only three games in doubles and sweeping each of the six singles match ups in straight-sets. Both second doubles tandem Johnny Nelson and Mike McLaughlin and third doubles tandem Sebastian Rodriguez and Mike Pratt won 8-0, while No. 1 duo Terry Keegan and Chris Curran earned an 8-3 victory.

Rodriguez laid down a pair of bagels (6-0, 6-0) against Zachery Warriner at fourth singles, while Keegan and Nelson won handily at No. 3 (6-0, 6-1) and No. 6 (6-0, 6-2) respectively. Pratt swept Tyler Loy 6-1, 6-2 at the fifth spot.

Both Curran and McLaughlin cruised to wins at the top two singles bouts. Curran dropped only one game in each set at No. 1 (6-1, 6-1) and McLaughlin took down Evgeny Matigullin 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2. McLaughlin's doubles win earlier in the day was his 35th career decision in doubles, pushing him into a tie for third place on the program's career list with Brandon Cutter '98.

Gettysburg returns to the court on Tuesday, April 3, with a road trip to Dickinson College. The match is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
