Jennifer White left a legacy as one of the best dual-sport student-athletes in the history of Gettysburg College.

White garnered a total of seven all-conference awards as a member of the field hockey and softball programs. During the fall, she landed the first of three postseason awards from the Centennial Conference as a sophomore after helping the Bullets claim the conference title and break the program record for wins with a mark of 17-3.

White turned in her best offensive season on the turf with 26 points as Gettysburg tied its single-season record for wins, captured a share of the CC crown, and advanced to the second round of NCAAs in 1999. She ended her career by being named All-America Third Team, All-South Region First Team, and All-CC First Team in 2000. White led the team in goals (9) and points (22) as a senior. She finished her career with 27 goals, 17 assists, and 71 points.

As an outfielder on the softball team, White became the program’s first four-time all-conference first-team selection. She exploded onto the scene by setting single-season records for hits (46), doubles (9), triples (6), and total bases (73), while hitting a career-high .442 as a first-year in 1998. White hit .420, while leading the Bullets to the conference title and a berth in the NCAA playoffs in 1999. She closed her softball career with a career batting average of .383 with 79 runs, 131 hits, 59 RBI, and 26 stolen bases.

A native of Quakertown, Pa., White graduated from Gettysburg with a degree in health and physical education.
