LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior
Clay Reynolds (Medway, Mass./Worcester Academy) of the Gettysburg College men's cross country team has been named the Centennial Conference Male Runner of the Week.
Reynolds placed 10th out of 316 runners to help the Bullets finish third out of 25 teams at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday. He was timed at 26:58 for the 8,000-meter course and was the fourth Division III finisher. Gettysburg placed only 10 points behind Susquehanna University for second while Division II Shippensburg University claimed the team title.
Gettysburg, ranked No. 8 in the most recent United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III Mideast Region poll, returns to action on Saturday, when it runs at the Elizabethtown College Invitational.
