2009 ECAC Division III Softball All-Star Teams (PDF)

Erin Ober (Lutherville, Md./Dulaney) picked up her final award of the postseason as she was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Softball All-Star First Team according to a recent announcement made by the organization.
Ober added her first ECAC award to a list of 2009 accolades that includes Centennial Conference Player of the Year, All-CC First Team, Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region First Team, and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Third Team. She is Gettysburg's first ECAC All-Star since Molly Gale '05 was named to the first team as an outfielder in 2004.
The Bullets' starting centerfielder in all 38 games, Ober led Gettysburg to a 27-10-1 overall record, marking the second-most victories in program history. She finished the year as the team leader in batting average (.402), runs (41), hits (49), triples (5), home runs (6), RBI (tied-31), total bases (85), slugging percentage (.697), on-base percentage (.464), and stolen bases (14). Ober tied the school's single-season record for home runs and posted the second-highest totals for runs and total bases.
Ober was a three-time All-CC pick and closed her career with a .350 batting average, ranking 10th in program history. She ranked among the school's all-time leaders in nearly every offensive stat, including ranking second in stolen bases (34) and home runs (12), third in total bases (244), and fifth in runs scored (101) and hits (160).
