HUMMELS WARF, Pa. – Juniors
Leah Tuscano (Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) and
Marybeth Scott (Chester Springs, Pa./The Hill School) went 1-2, respectively, to lead the Gettysburg College women's golf team at the Susquehanna University Fall Invitational hosted at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Only three teams and 10 golfers competed on Saturday, but Gettysburg made the most of it with three of the top four scores of the day. One week after winning the Saint Vincent Lady Bearcat Invitational, Tuscano notched her second individual victory of the season with a low round of 89. Scott was right behind with a score of 90 in her first outing of 2009.

Caroline Nathan (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) tied for third overall with a 93. Also making her first appearance for the Orange & Blue was freshman Molly Smith (Sparta, N.J./Pope John) who finished seventh at 103.
Next up for Gettysburg is a two-day tournament hosted by SUNY-Cortland at the Cortland Country Club on Oct. 3-4.
