All-Centennial Conference Women's Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – After sweeping the Centennial Conference (CC) titles for the third year in a row, the Gettysburg College men's and women's swimming teams had 12 athletes named to the All-Conference Team.
The Centennial Conference recognizes all gold medalists with first-team status while runners up receive honorable mention.
In addition, the Bullets captured a pair of major awards.
Mike Rawleigh was named the Men's Coach of the Year for the second-straight season while freshman
Lea Candelmo was chosen as the Women's Rookie Outstanding Performer.
It was the 11th Centennial Conference men's swimming title for Rawleigh, whose Bullets won the meet by 216 points and registered 10 NCAA Division III Championship-qualifying “B” cuts. Candelmo won two events and captured the silver in another.
The men's team had six swimmers earn first-team all-conference status in six events:

Stu Cubbison (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) – 400-freestyle relay
Freshman
Tyler Gould (Darien, Conn./Darien) – 800-freestyle relay
Sophomore
Mike Harmon (Shippensburg, Pa./home-schooled) – 200-backstroke, 400-freestyle relay, 200-IM
Sophomore
Ashton Leyens (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) – 400-freestyle relay, 800-freestyle relay
Sophomore
Jason Potter (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) –100-freestyle, 400-freestyle relay, 200-freestyle, 800-freestyle relay
Junior
Sean Staerk (Abington, Pa./Abington) – 800-freestyle relay
Six Bullets also captured honorable mention in five events:
Gould – 400-medley relay
Harmon – 100-backstroke, 400-medley relay
Leyens – 100-freestyle, 200-freestyle
Sophomore
Will Nelligan (Newtown Square, Pa./Haverford School) – 400-medley relay
Potter – 50-freestyle, 400-medley relay
Junior
Adam Weinbrom (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) – 200-backstroke
On the women's side, a pair of Bullets were named to the first team:
Candelmo – 400-IM, 500-freesyle
Freshman
Marie Gingher (Boalsburg, Pa./State College) – 100-breaststroke
Three swimmers also received honorable mention in four events for the women's team:

Caroline Coolidge (West Hartford, Conn./Kingswood-Oxford) – 200-backstroke, 200-IM
Gingher – 200-breaststroke
Sophomore
Cooper Kearns (West Hartford, Conn./Miss Porter's School) – 1,650-freestyle
Gettysburg's women's team edged out Ursinus College by seven points to pick up the 14th Centennial Conference title in program history, all of which have also come under Rawleigh's watch.
