WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Gettysburg College men's tennis team capped the season with a 7-2 victory over McDaniel College on Saturday.
 
Gettysburg (3-12, 1-8 CC) won the bottom two doubles flights to take an early lead. Juniors Mike Pratt (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) and Scott Johnson (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) picked up an 8-2 win at second doubles, while freshman Kyle Shope (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) and senior James Salierno (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) earned an 8-4 win at third doubles.
 
Salierno, Johnson, and Pratt each picked up victories in singles play. Salierno capped his collegiate career with a 7-6, 6-0 win at No. 6. Johnson won 6-3, 6-1 over Tom Orrok at the fourth flight, while Pratt took down Daniel Xinis 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3.
 
Senior Chris Curran (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) dropped only one game en route to a 6-1, 6-0 win over Brian Kron at No. 1. Curran closed his career with 69 total wins. Freshman Dave Musser (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) defeated Seth McFall 6-3, 6-0 at the second flight.
