2018-19 Women's Tennis Team
The hallmark of Gettysburg women's tennis has been consistent strong performance over many years of play. The team has won over 300 matches over its near-four decades of play.
Gettysburg closed the 2018-19 campaign with its best win total in 21 years, collecting 12 victories. The Bullets made their first postseason appearance of any kind in three decades and scored the program's first victory with a 5-4 decision over Franklin & Marshall College in the first round of the Centennial Conference Championship.
Women's tennis won a program-best 19 matches en route to the Centennial Conference team championship in 1996.
Few college tennis programs offer as majestic or historic a setting for tennis. Home matches are played at the courts next to the rolling terrain of the Gettysburg battlefield and within view of Oak Ridge and the Peace Light, a Civil War monument that inspired the Eternal Flame at Arlington National Cemetery.
