Lee Rentzel is currently in his second tenure as a member of Gettysburg College's baseball staff. He previously served as the Bullets pitching coach from 1992-1994. He returned to the Gettysburg staff in 1998 after serving as pitching coach at York (Pa.) College.
Prior to joining the Bullets in 1992, Lee had a long and distinguished career as the head baseball coach at New Oxford High School. He is a 1961 graduate of Penn State University and also holds a master's degree from Western Maryland College. The former Nittany Lion pitcher still plays actively in the summer and handles much of the Bullets pre game batting practice chores.
Lee and his wife Jo Ann are the parents of two children and they have four grandchildren. They live in Hanover, Pa.
