The men's basketball team came home without a win from its California trip, but it was not due to a lack of effort from senior Andrew Powers. Powers averaged team highs of 19 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the field in two games. Against No. 18 Illinois Wesleyan, he posted a game-high 22 points and seven boards.
