Athletic Communications


The Office of Athletic Communications has been serving Gettysburg College and its athletics department since 1959 when Robert Kenworthy '59 took up the mantle of Sports Information Director. Kenworthy spent four decades in the position and is a member of both the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Hall of Fame and the Gettysburg College Hall of Athletic Honor. CoSIDA awards the Bob Kenworthy Community Service Award every year to a member for civic involvement and accomplishments outside of the sports information office.

Photography and Media Requests
All media requests, including photography credentials and interviews with student-athletes and coaches, should be submitted to Luke Stillson, Director of Athletics Communications. On-field photography at our venues is restricted to personnel representing established media outlets or visiting institutions. 

David Sinclair is the official photographer of Gettysburg College athletics. Requests for images and coverage can be arranged with him in advance of competitions and his products are available for purchase afterwards on DavidSinclairPhotography.com.
