Close had a hand in two different records in the Bullets 121-84 victory over Swarthmore on Saturday. He set a Gettysburg pool record (4:52.62) while winning by over eight seconds in the 500-free, then swam the third leg of the 400-free relay that also established a pool record (3:13.98).
