Freshman Zach Thomson claimed the individual title at 165 pounds at the King's Monarch Invitational on Nov. 5. Thomson won in every manner possible on the mat, taking out his first opponent by technical fall before notching his first collegiate pin in round two. After putting up a 10-0 major decision in the semifinals, the Mechanicsburg, Pa., native secured his first collegiate title with a 6-0 win in the finale.
