Gettysburg College Athletics

Philbin was named all-region for the first time in her career following her 28th-place finish out of 335 runners at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional cross country meet at DeSales University. Finishing the 6,000-meter race in 23:56, she helped Gettysburg place sixth out of 47 schools. Her performance was a dramatic improvement from the 2010 regional meet, as she finished 108 places higher and 1:41 faster in 2011.
