Senior Sara Kinsley averaged 20.5 points, 12 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game in a 1-1 opening week for the women's basketball team. The 6-0 center put up career highs of 24 points and 17 rebounds in a 61-54 loss to Manhattanville College in the first game of the Marymount Tip-Off Tournament. The following day, Kinsley turned in a game-high 17 points as the Bullets defeated Lynchburg College 50-39 in the tournament consolation game. Kinsley, who finished 17-for-26 from the floor (65.4 percent) and 7-for-10 at the free throw line, was named to the Marymount All-Tournament Team.
