Sophomore Kelsey Markiewicz went to work for the top-ranked Bullets against No. 20 Elizabethtown on March 3. Markiewicz factored into all facets of the game in the 22-9 win, including posting a career-high 11 points on a career-best seven goals and a career-best four assists. It was the highest point total by a Bullet since current Washington College coach Julika Blankenship ’03 went for 12 points against Ursinus in 2003 and it fell three points shy of both the school and conference records. Markiewicz, who turned in her goal output on just nine shots, topped her previous best point total by five. She also added seven draw controls, three ground balls, and one caused turnover.
