Caruso started the football team's season with a bang, returning the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown in the Bullets season-opening, 70-0 win over Misericordia. The Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, he finished with 201 all-purpose yards, rushing for a career-high 63 yards on four carries while making two receptions for 49 yards.
