Esposito placed second out of 65 runners at the Little Three Meet, featuring Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, and Gettysburg and held on the Gettysburg College campus. She placed only eight seconds behind Franklin & Marshall All-American Sheena Crawley, running the 5,000-meter race in 19:03. Esposito finished 20 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher.
