On Senior Day, Thompson made his first career interception a memorable one in Gettysburg’s 38-31 win over Franklin & Marshall, returning it 80 yards for a touchdown. His pick-six gave his team a 35-14 lead late in the third quarter, and it was the longest interception return by a Bullet since Brian Barr had an 86-yarder for a TD against Widener in 1982.
