Sophomore Zach Thomson was named Outstanding Upper Weight Wrestler after going 4-0 at 174 pounds at the Mount Union Duals on Saturday, Nov. 17. Thomson opened the day with a second-round pin against Washington and Jefferson College before shutting out his next two opponents from Muskingum and Mount Union by technical fall (15-0) and major decision (10-0), respectively. Thomson closed with a 7-4 decision over Jerrold Roosa of Thiel College to run his season record to a perfect 8-0.
