Zurn averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.5 assists per game in a 1-1 week for Gettysburg. In the Bullets 66-52 Centennial Conference-opening win over Muhlenberg, he scored a game-high 18 points to go with six rebounds, three steals, and three assists. Zurn added a game- and season-high 22 points in a 55-44 loss to York (Pa.), and he also had eight rebounds and three steals against the Spartans.
