Junior Alyssa Isler helped the women's basketball team to three victories in its first week back on campus. Isler was named to the Days Inn All-Tournament Team after leading the Bullets to the tournament title on Jan. 2-3. After posting 13 points and a career-high tying eight rebounds in a win over Alvernia University, Isler tied her personal best with 21 points as Gettysburg knocked off Gwynedd-Mercy 58-52 in the title game. The junior guard was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line in the game, including eight shots in the final 3:41. Isler added eight points in Gettysburg's 58-40 victory over Washington College on Jan. 5. For the week, she averaged 14 points, 3.3 rebounds, and two steals per game.
