Candelmo was named the Women's Most Outstanding Rookie at the Centennial Conference Swimming Championships while helping the Bullets win their third-straight title. She won two events (500-freestyle, 400-IM) and captured the bronze in a third (1,650-freestyle). In the 500-free, she nearly achieved an NCAA Division III Championship-qualifying time, as she missed the "B" cut by just 1.02 seconds. Candelmo also swam on the 800-freestyle relay that was fourth and the 400-freestyle relay that won the "B" final to place ninth overall.
