Sophomore Zach Thomson finished third at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships on March 15-16. After dropping his opening match, Thomson ran the table through the consolation bracket, posting two major decisions and two pins to reach the third-place bout. He defeated his final opponent 10-3 to become Gettysburg's highest national finisher since 1997. Thomson closed the year with a record of 36-3 with 11 pins and 10 major decisions.
