Potter registered an outstanding performance at the four-day NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships in Shenandoah, Texas. He captured All-America honors in five events and broke or helped break four school records and three Centennial Conference records while helping the Bullets place 15th in the team standings. In the 50-freestyle he finished 11th, broke the school record, and was named an All-America Honorable Mention. In the 100-freestyle he broke both the school and conference record three times, won the consolation final to take ninth overall, and gained All-America HM recognition again. Potter also swam on all three freestyle relay teams that earned All-America honors. He helped the 800-freestyle relay finish 13th in a school and conference record and was a member of the 200-free relay that took 10th. In addition, he swam on the 400-free relay team that came in sixth to earn First Team All-America status in a school and conference record time.
