Sophomore Jason Potter provided a number of highlights to the men's swimming team's successful season. Potter helped the men's team win its third consecutive Centennial Conference title by capturing two individual crowns in the 100 and 200 freestyle. He also guided the 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays to conference titles. At the NCAA Division III Championships, Potter started the meet in dramatic fashion, winning a swim-off to claim the final spot in the consolation final of the 50 free. The victory would propel the sophomore to five All-America certificates, including individual honors in the 50 freestyle (11th) and 100 freestyle (9th). On the final day of the four-day event, Potter reset or tied a school record in each of his four swims. Through his first two seasons, Potter has racked up eight All-America citations and six school records.
