Freshman Katie Cavanaugh put together a phenomenal debut season on the track. The first-year hurdler cruised to the school record in the 60-meter hurdles in her first race and reset that mark four more times. She clocked her final record of 8.95 at the Columbia Last Qualifying Meet which allowed her to jump 21 places into the national rankings and qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships. Cavanaugh, the first Bullet to reach the national indoor meet for the women's team in five years, finished 12th in her NCAA debut.
