Freshman Jamie Abell turned in a big week for the Bullets softball team. Abell hit a blistering .577 (15-for-26) in the team's first nine games of the season. She scored 11 runs, drove in seven, and swiped five bases. Abell slugged .769 on a the strength of a pair of doubles and her first collegiate home run and she logged a team-best on-base average of .667. She hit safely in all nine outings, including posting a 3-for-3 performance against Emmanuel.
