Kiefer turned in a strong freshman season for the Bullets in 2013-14. The Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year and an honorable mention all-conference selection, he led the Orange and Blue in scoring (12.6 points per game) and free-throw percentage (86.7%) while finishing second on the team in 3-pointers made (32). He closed the season strong, leading the Bullets in scoring in each of his last five outings before missing the last four games of the year with an injury.
