Potter helped guide the Bullets to the Centennial Conference title and a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Championship with a torrent of outstanding performances. He captured seven medals, including six golds, at the Centennial Conference Championships, winning the 100-freestyle, 200-freestyle, 200-medley relay, 200-freestyle relay, 400-freestyle, and 800-freestyle relay. Then at the NCAA Championships, he captured First Team All-America honors in four of the five events in which he competed and is now a 12-time All-American. At the national meet, he placed third in the 50-freestyle, third in the 400-freestyle, fourth in the 100-freestyle, and fourth in the 200-freestyle relay while setting school records in the 50-freestyle (20.15), the 100-freestyle (44.54), the 200-freestyle relay (1:21.07), and the 400-freestyle relay (2:59.70). Potter also helped reset Centennial Conference records in the 200- and 400-free relays.
