Kelsey Markiewicz put a stamp on an outstanding lacrosse career this past spring. Markiewicz was honored as a first-team All-American by both the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Lacrosse Magazine after pacing the Bullets with 53 goals and 67 points. She scored a point in every game this season, including turning in three goals apiece in top-10 showdowns with The College of New Jersey and York (Pa.) College. Markiewicz, who was also named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year, All-Metro Region First Team, and All-CC First Team, finished among the school's all-time leaders in points (Ninth, 224), goals (Eighth, 164), and draw controls (Sixth, 179). She helped Gettysburg claim the program's first national title as a freshman in 2011 in addition to three conference titles and four NCAA appearances.
