Samantha Sessa began her collegiate career with a bang, breaking the women's golf team's record for the lowest round. Sessa carded a 74 at the par-72, 5,280-yard course at The Blue Ridge Country Club during the Dickinson College Fall Invitational on Sept. 13. She shaved two strokes off the previous school record notched by Merrill Fortier '08 a decade ago. Sessa earned top honors at the event and Gettysburg took home the team title as the squad set a team scoring record with 329.
