Gettysburg College Athletics

Sophomore linebacker Michael Pennella helped Gettysburg capture a 31-17 victory over Juniata on Homecoming. Pennella keyed the defensive effort with a team-high 10 tackles, including 2.5 sacks. He set the tone early by sacking Juniata quarterback Ward Udinski, the conferene's second-leading rusher and passer, on the third play of the game. Nine of Pennella's 10 stops came against the Eagle quarterback. Pennella leads Gettysburg with 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, and 3.5 sacks this fall.
