Leyens had a hand in three victories in the 19th-ranked Bullets 151-108 non-conference victory at the University of Mary Washington, helping Gettysburg remain undefeated on the season. He captured the 100-freestyle in 47.40 seconds, edging out teammate Jason Potter ’15, who is ranked third in Division III in the event. Leyens also won the 200-freestyle (1:45.99) – an event in which he is ranked ninth in the nation – and swam on the winning 200-freestyle relay (1:45.99).
