Cavanaugh reset her own school record in winning the 100-meter hurdles, and she was also second in the 100-meter dash, helping the Bullets place second out of 10 teams at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational. In the hurdles, she won by nearly a full second and was clocked with a hand-held time of 14.2 seconds, which converts to a FAT time of 14.44 – one-hundredth of a second better than her previous mark. She also took second in the 100-meter dash in an FAT-converted time of 12.74, which is her PR and ranks her seventh in school history. In addition, Cavanaugh competed in the long jump for the first time and placed fourth among 19 competitors with a leap of 15-3 1/2.
