Freshman Samantha Sessa earned top honors at the Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship. Sessa scored a school record for 36 holes with a 157 (80-77) during the event, marking the second-lowest score in championship history. Her 77 on the final day tied the lowest final round score at the event. Sessa wasthe fourth-straight Bullet conference medalist and sixth overall. She was the first freshman to win since 2010. The first-year golfer was also named CC Player of the Year and CC Rookie of the Year, becoming the first player to sweep both awards. She has won six titles this season and currently sits with a school and conference record scoring average of 79.3.
