Kristina Mercier led the Bullets volleyball team to a 6-0 week, the program's best start to a season in 18 years. After posting 16 kills on 18 attempts in matches against Lancaster Bible and Hood, Mercier picked up all-tournament accolades at the Battlefield Classic, totaling 36 kills and 49 digs in four victories. In the opening week of the season, Mercier led the team in kills (52) and kills per set (2.48), ranked second in attack percentage (.301), and ranked third in digs per set (2.71).
