Junior outfielder Steph Zengel took home Centennial Conference Player of the Year accolades after another banner campaign. Zengel led the conference in both RBI (41) and doubles (15), while finishing second in hits (62) and total bases (82), and third in batting average (.422). In 16 conference contests, she paced Gettysburg with a .404 batting avearge and 13 RBI. Zengel recorded a 21-game hit streak during the year and she posted 12 multiple-RBI outings. During the Bullets' 10-game win streak, she went 23-for-39 (.590) with 17 RBI. She was also named All-CC First Team and NFCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team. Through three seasons, Zengel already ranks among the program's all-time leaders in a number of offensive categories, including batting average (2nd, .421), hits (T-6th, 161), and RBI (4th, 106).Â
