Gettysburg College Athletics

Asaro won her second race in three meets to open the season, crossing the line first at the 35th annual Little Three Meet, hosted by Gettysburg College. Asaro ran in the lead pack for the entire race before pulling away over the final 1,000 meters, winning by eight seconds with a time of 19:00 for the 5K. She helped her team to a split, as the Bullets lost 43-20 to No. 18 Dickinson but defeated Franklin & Marshall 20-41. It was the second Little Three title for Asaro, who also won the event as a freshman in 2003 when the meet was held at F&M.
