Taber finished sixth among 240 runners at the Gettysburg Invitational, helping the Bullets to a sixth-place showing among 24 schools. He cruised the 8,000-meter course in a personal-record time of 26:03, which was also the fastest time by a Bullet at the Gettysburg Invitational in seven years. Taber's sixth-place finish was the best by a Gettysburg runner at the meet since Bill Gray was fifth in 1995.
