Senior Jessica Porter picked up MVP honors after averaging 18.5 points and 10 rebounds per game at the Frostburg State Tip-off Tournament. Porter posted eight points and seven rebounds and connected on the game-winning three-pointer with three seconds as the Bullets knocked off 20th-ranked Geneseo State 50-47 in the season opener. In the championshp game against Frostburg, the senior forward topped her personal high with 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in an 83-53 victory. It was the second consecutive season Porter was named the outstanding player at the Frostburg event.
