Kaiser won both the long jump (20-10 1/2) and the triple jump (42/2 1/2) while placing third in the 55-meter dash to lead the men's indoor track and field team in its first meet of the season at the Dickinson Early Bird Invitational. He won by substantial margins in both jumping events, winning the long by 6.75 inches while capturing the triple by 7.5 inches. He finished just 0.07 seconds off the winning mark in the 55-dash, clocking a time of 6.83.
