Gettysburg College Athletics

Making his collegiate debut as a position player, Lawrence hit .750, going 9-for-12 for the week. A pitcher during his first three years at Gettysburg, Lawrence made a seamless move to leftfield, posting three-straight multi-hit games. He went 3-for-5 in the team's season-opening 12-0 win over Hood College before going 6-for-7 with four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Rivier University in Gettysburg's Spring Break opener in Florida. He was 3-for-4 in the first game versus the Raiders and 3-for-3 with three runs in the nightcap.
