Cavanaugh turned in a record-breaking performance in the 100-meter hurdles at the Gettysburg College Mason-Dixon Invitational, helping the Bullets win the team title. In prelims, she clocked a time of 14.22 seconds, which broke the Centennial Conference record, lowered her own school record, and tied both the meet and Musselman Stadium record. She went on to win the event in 14.39, and she also finished second among 21 competitors in the long jump (16-9 1/4).
