Cavanaugh defended her 100-meter hurdles Centennial Conference title in record-breaking fashion. With a winning time of 14.04 seconds, she lowered her own school and conference record by 0.18 seconds while also establishing a new meet record by 0.38 seconds. Cavanaugh also won the long jump (17-1 1/4) and placed fourth in the 100-meter dash (12.52).
