Knocking down the game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds of the women's basketball team's season opener was just the start of another outstanding season for senior Jessica Porter. Porter averaged 14.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in her final year as a Bullet. She was named MVP of both the Frostburg State and Gettysburg Tournaments, earning the award for the second time at the latter event. Porter clocked in with eight 20-point efforts and eight double-doubles this season, including capping her career with 21 points and 10 rebounds against McDaniel in the Centennial Conference semifinals. She was named All-CC First Team for the second year in a row and earned her third all-league selection overall. Off the field, Porter was a force in the community, leading the college's Green Dot Program and receiving the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Award. She finished her career tied for eighth in program history with 1,185 points and third with 126 blocked shots.
