Kuba-McCoy helped Gettysburg reach the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Championship and nearly knock off the top-ranked team in the country. The junior outside hitter posted 17 kills while hitting .441 in a dominating 3-0 sweep of Franklin & Marshall College in the opening match of the conference tournament. Matched up against top-ranked and unbeaten Johns Hopkins University in the semifinals, Kuba-McCoy nearly lifted the team to an upset win, recording 18 kills and 11 digs as the Bullets became the first Centennial team to take the Blue Jays to five sets in over three years.
